Parliamentary Reception - 16th September 2009
This event, sponsored by Frank McAveety MSP, took place at the Scottish Parliament on 16th September 2009. The reception saw the launch of Includem's 2008/09 annual report, It all adds up.
The event was attending by a number of key MSPs and organisations such as Kenny MacAskill, Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Brigadier Hugh Munro, Chief Inspector of Prisons.
Opening of Head Office - 9th June 2008
On 9th June 2008 we held an information-sharing event to mark the opening of our new head office. This followed on from the publication last September of the evaluation of Includem's intensive support services provided as part of the Intensive Support and Monitoring Service in five local authorities.
Cabinet Secretary Kenny MacAskill attended the event to formally open Includem's Head Office.
He said;
"We need to break the cycle and end the curse of the "3ds", drink, drugs and deprivation, that blights far too many people in Scotland. There is a better way to live life and Includem are helping to show our young people that they are part of the community."
"Their work to support the most challenging and vulnerable young people plays a crucial role in turning young lives around and getting them on the path to a better way of life."
